Vladimir focused after victory

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic hopes the team can push on from their dismantling of Black Leopards in the Nedbank Cup. Amakhosi ran riot in Polokwane on Saturday as Lehlohonolo Majoro netted four unanswered goals in a last-16 tie at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

"We scored three goals in 15 minutes, and after that it was much easier to play," said Vermezovic.

"We must still keep consistency up though, even after 3-0, and I think in the second half we were more serious than the first.

"But I must be satisfied, and tonight we can rest, but tomorrow there is more training," concluded the Serbian.

The sides will revive hostilities in the league on Tuesday, with Chiefs trailing leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by five points but with a game in hand.
