Johannesburg - Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic says he is not ready to discuss his departure from the club or his future plans, for now.
The Serbian was shown the exit door by the Amakhosi management last week Thursday, with the club stating that the move was to allow both parties to prepare for the new campaign in good time.
“At the moment I don’t want to make any statements, maybe later. I don’t want to talk about that, I’ve just finished with Kaizer Chiefs and I don’t want to talk. I want to be calm and maybe later,” said Vermezovic.
Although the coach does not want to discuss his future at the moment, speculation in the media has been rife, suggesting that he will remain in the PSL.
Ace Khuse, Doctor Khumalo and Arthur Zwane have taken over at the helm and will look after the team for the rest of the season.
With Free State Stars having knocked them out of the Nedbank Cup, the Naturena-based outfit will now focus all their attention on the league.
Poised in fourth place on the Absa Premiership, with 40 points, Chiefs are six points adrift log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, although have a game in hand.
