Siphiwe Tshabalala (Gallo)
Johannesburg - Siphiwe Tshabalala faces a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a "nasty" injury in Kaizer Chiefs' Gauteng Cup success at the weekend.

The Bafana Bafana winger got hurt in the 3-0 semi-final win over Moroka Swallows, and will now miss Saturday's Carling Cup showdown with Orlando Pirates.

"It was a nasty one there for Tshabalala, but we'll have to wait a couple of days before we can be sure how long he'll be out," Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter said in the Sowetan.

Amakhosi edged Bidvest Wits 8-7 on penalties in the Gauteng Cup final this past Saturday.
