Tshabalala returns to SA

Johannesburg - No deal has been concluded between Siphiwe Tshabalala and Crystal Palace as of yet although it is thought that the English Championship side will look into acquiring him at the end of the 2011/12 season.

The 27-year-old midfielder has concluded his trial with The Eagles and is now returning home to his current team, Kaizer Chiefs, as he prepares for what could very well be his final six months with the Soweto giants.

Terry Byfield, Palace’s communications manager, confirmed that the player had left and that no decision had been taken. Byfield explained, “He’s concluded his trial with us and he’s returned to South Africa, no decision has been made on him, he’s gone back to discuss with his club his own contract.”

It is thought that "Shabba" will return to Chiefs and help their cause as they look to topple Orlando Pirates as kings of the PSL and could then move on in June when he will be available on a free transfer.
