Terror back in Ajax good books

Terror Fanteni (Gallo)
Johannesburg - Ajax Cape Town striker Terror Fanteni may make his first appearance of the year against AmaZulu in a Nedbank Cup last-32 tie on Sunday.

The ex-Bafana Bafana star has previously been overlooked for selection after gaining weight during the league break, which ended midway through last month.

However, Fanteni is now back in favour with club coach Maarten Stekelenburg, who is impressed by his attacker's renewed desire to contribute at Ikamva.

"When Terror came back after the break in January he was not fit at all," Stekelenburg told the PSL's official website.

"I was not too happy and I told him, 'Terror you are not part of the group at this moment in time - go and work on your fitness.'

"I spoke this morning in the dressing room. I also spoke to the group and spoke to Terror. I gave him a big compliment because I think he has worked really hard and showed to the group that he wants to be part of this club, part of this team - he wants to achieve things with this team."
