TKO semis dates confirmed

Johannesburg - The Telkom Knockout semi-finals will be played on the last weekend of November after the dates were announced on Thursday.

Sixteen teams entered the tournament midway through October, but only Orlando Pirates, Santos, Golden Arrows and BidVest Wits remain to battle it out for the Ziwa Mo title.

The first of the two last-four clashes will take place on Saturday 26 November, with Golden Arrows drawn as the home team against Orlando Pirates for the Moses Mabhida Stadium encounter in Durban.

The second semi-final will be contested the following day, with Santos traveling to the BidVest Stadium in Johannesburg to take on Roger De Sa's Wits.

The winner of this year's showpiece will walk away with not only Telkom Knockout bragging rights, but also with a cheque totaling R4.25 million, while the runners-up will receive R1.75 million for their efforts.

The final will take place on Saturday, December 10.
