Soweto derby set for FNB

Johannesburg - Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have announced they will stage the Carling Black Label Cup at FNB Stadium on July 28.

The Sea Robbers won the pre-season showpiece last year, edging Amakhosi on penalties.

"Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are the embodiment of football in this country," said Bucs chairman Irvin Khoza.

"We do things differently which keeps us relevant in football."

The format of the competition, which was launched in 2011, allows fans to vote for preferred starting line-ups, as well as make substitutions during the match.

The theme for the upcoming contest is 'Be the Coach'.
