Mosimane: Sundowns to attack Rayon

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says his team will attack Rayon Sports in the second leg of their CAF Champions League first-round tie later this month.

Mosimane was not happy with some of the treatment handed out to the Brazilians in Wednesday's 0-0 draw in Kigali, saying preparations for the first leg were disrupted due to a floodlight failure.

Sundowns had just started training on Tuesday evening before the floodlights mysteriously went off, with authorities claiming it was due to a power failure.

As such, Mosimane says Sundowns will aim for a measure of revenge by taking the game to the Rwanda outfit at Loftus Versveld on March 18.

"We don't like to make excuses. We did not train the day before and it's not good especially not good for football," the 53-year-old said.

"Imagine you come to my country and there are all these things, what are you going to think of me? I'm not saying you intentionally put the lights off.

"But we have been in the Champions League for long and we don't really care. Football is like that, it's going to be tough. I don't know how they play away from home but from our side we will go forward."
