'Bibo' boost for Pirates

Johannesburg- Following a twelve weeks injury to defender Siyabonga Sangweni, the Orlando Pirates faithful will be delighted to hear about the return to full fitness of the hard-tackling midfielder, Thandani Ntshumayelo.

Ntshumayelo suffered from a recurring ankle injury in the Telkom Knock-Out last 16 clash against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Tuesday last week.

“Bibo” was cleared off the injury list by the Pirates medical team ahead of the crucial away fixture to Esperance De Tunis in the CAF Champions League Semi-Final second leg in Tunisia on Saturday.

According to the Pirates' website, the latest scan results which the club received from a specialist in Johannesburg, revealed that the Free State born midfielder did not sustain any structural damage to his foot, and is therefore fit to train with the rest of the squad this week.

The match against the two times CAF champions will be played at the Stade Olympique de Radès stadium in Tunis.

Kickoff is scheduled for 20:00 SA Time.
