Sono names assistant coach

Johannesburg - Jomo Cosmos boss Jomo Sono has recruited MacDonald Makhubedu as an assistant coach from Sivutsa Stars.

Sono hopes Makhubedu will help him return Ezenkosi to the Premiership following their relegation with Santos last term.

Meanwhile, Sono's son Bamuza has been appointed team manager.

The midfielder will continue with his playing duties.

"I am still only 32-years-old and I believe I still have a lot to offer playing football," he said.
