Sydney - Former Fulham midfielder Ahmad Elrich has been charged with multiple gun and drugs offences, and refused bail.

The 29-year-old Elrich, who played for Fulham in the 2005-06 Premier League season, is remanded in custody and we reappear at Parramatta Local Court on June 17.

Elrich was stopped by police for having a faulty tail light while riding a motorcycle in western Sydney last Thursday. Police say they found two pistols loaded with ammunition and a drug for which Elrich did not have a prescription.
