SAFA to donate luxury buses?

Johannesburg - The South African Football Association looks set to offer their support to Africa’s southern region.

Soccer Laduma has learnt that SAFA would be donating, as a gesture of good will, around 14 buses to the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations region members.

Our source said that the decision was made during the recent general meeting and that SAFA would once again try to show their leading role in taking the continent forward.

After the Rainbow Nation helped to put Africa in the limelight when hosted the first ever FIFA World Cup in the continent, they have now decided to share some of the benefits that they reaped with their neighboring football federations.

A source revealed that the lucky members of COSAFA would each receive a luxury bus, courtesy of SAFA.

The handing over is believed to be taking place after SAFA vice-president Danny Jordaan returns from Switzerland. However both Jordaan and his fellow vice-president Mwelo Nonkonyana did not want to deny or confirm the matter.
