Johannesburg - The South African Under-23 soccer team booked their place in the All Africa Games on Sunday despite going down to neighbours Zimbabwe in their final qualifying match in Harare.
Zimbabwe secured a 1-0 victory in the second leg encounter, but South Africa qualified for the continental showpiece with a 2-1 aggregate win.
The South Africans had secured a 2-0 victory in the first leg in Daveyton two weeks earlier.
Baby Bafana will join the national women's team, Banyana Banyana, at the All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique in September.
