Playoff fixtures to continue
Johannesburg - The ongoing saga between Blackburn Rovers and Chippa United has been resolved after the matter sat for arbitration on Sunday evening, June 10.
Rovers initially filed a complaint against Chippa for allegedly fielding an improperly registered player. After the Premier Soccer League ruled in favour of Chippa, Rovers appealed the ruling and the matter was brought to arbitration.
The arbitrator upheld the PSL’s disciplinary committee’s ruling in favour of Chippa. The PSL promotional playoffs that have been suspended as a result of the complaint will now continue.
The PSL will advice on dates and times for the remaining promotional playoff fixtures.
