Cape Town - The deadlock between SAFA and former SA coach Pitso Mosimane got uglier last week after the two parties failed to reach an agreement, according to a report on The New Age.
With Mosimane not relenting on his claim for unfair dismissal by SAFA, the matter is now ready for an arbitration showdown at the CCMA at a date to be announced.
“We failed to reach an agreement with Mosimane’s lawyers because the issue is whether he was unfairly dismissed or not,” said member of the SAFA legal department Nathi Ngcobo.
Mosimane, 47, signed a four-year contract in July 2010, replacing Brazilian Carlos Alberto Parreira shortly after the national team was eliminated in the first round of the Soccer World Cup in South Africa.
