Cape Town -  The lawyers for Pitso Mosimane and the SA Football Association (SAFA) are locked in negotiations after the coach took the governing body to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) over his dismissal from the Bafana Bafana coaching job, The Times reported on Thursday.

Mosimane was sacked as coach of the national team after a spate of disappointing results by Bafana. The final nail on his coaching coffin was a 1-1 draw at home with Ethiopia in a 2014 Soccer World Cup qualifier match early last month.

Mosimane was replaced by Gordon Igesund as Bafana Bafana head coach.
