Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane says the Brazilians remain confident about overcoming AS Vita in next week's CAF Champions League encounter.
Sundowns conceded a last minute goal in Kinshasa on Sunday to go down 1-0 to the DR Congo club in a second round, first leg affair.
The Brazilians also lost 1-0 away from home to Zimbabwean outfit Chicken Inn in a preliminary round game, but came back with a 2-0 home win to claim a 2-1 aggregate victory.
They will now be looking for a repeat performance when they take on AS Vita on 20 April at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
And Zwane feels there is every reason to believe that the Tshwane side can turn it around.
"The game was not that difficult," he was quoted as saying by The Sowetan. "I don't think [losing] 1-0 is that bad. We are going to beat them. We have the players to create [chances] out of nowhere. We need to take our chances.
"We got a lot of chances but we didn't use them. I got a chance and that was a clear chance. I tried to connect, but I miss-kicked.
"We kept the shape in DRC and our plan was working well until we conceded that silly goal. But we will rectify it in the next game. They gave us space to play and if you give us space, we will kill you," added the 26-year-old.
