Zungu: Technical team kept us busy

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu reveals that the festive season break did not intervene with their momentum.

At the start of the 2015/16 campaign the Chloorkop side struggled to find their feet and only started to feel their normal selves after several games.

Pitso Mosimane’s charges now find themselves on a 12-game unbeaten run and Zungu believes that the break will not damper their form.

"The break didn't really disturb us because the technical team kept us busy with friendly games," Zungu told Soccer Laduma.

"We played against teams like Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic, which are both good teams. We won all of those games, which was a motivation for us."

Meanwhile, Sundowns return back to action on Saturday where they face Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
