Pretoria - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu heaped praise on head coach Pitso Mosimane following his deserved accolade as the Absa Premiership coach of the month for November.
The outgoing midfielder, however, said that all his team-mates celebrated their mentors’ individual triumph but they are looking at the bigger picture which is to try and win the Absa Premiership title at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
“He (Mosimane) is a very good coach and he is also a hard working man," said Zungu.
“He really deserved this accolade and when he told us on Thursday morning that he has won the coach of the year, we were all happy for him.
“It’s so nice for the coach to win this kind of awards but as a team we are looking at a bigger picture and that’s to win the league for the club.
“The culture of the team is to win and we know what’s at stake, so we have one objective of lifting the title then we could celebrate as a team.”
The Brazilians reclaimed their top spot in the PSL log after defeating rivals SuperSport United 2-0 at the Lucas Moripe stadium on Saturday, thanks to Hlompho Kekana and Leonardo Castro strikes.
