Cape Town - Vitoria de Guimaraes midfielder Bongani Zungu says he is aware of Mamelodi Sundowns' interest in potentially taking him back on loan during the January transfer window.
Zungu joined Vitoria at the conclusion of the 2015/16 campaign although he is yet to feature for the Conquerors in Portugal's Primeira Liga.
However, the midfielder has made two appearances for the club's second string side.
The 24-year-old is still making his way back from a broken leg which he sustained for Sundowns during a league clash with Maritzburg United in January.
Despite his condition at the time, Vitoria still decided to sign the young star.
However, he is yet to feature for the Pedro Martins-coached outfit and the Brazilians have been linked with a loan move for the player in the new year.
As such, Zungu has revealed he is aware of the club's interest but says he is focusing on doing well in Portugal.
"This team is taking care of me, they love me and they signed me for a reason," he told Soccer Laduma.
"I know if I want to go back to Sundowns, they will welcome me, but I was shocked when I saw this on the news because my mind is here in Portugal and I want to focus."
