Zulu looking for a fresh start

Cape Town - Having failed to make the desired impact during his time with Kaizer Chiefs, David Zulu hopes to find his scoring boots for Chippa United next season.

Zulu was the leading goal-scorer in the National First Division with Black Leopards three seasons back. He then went on to sign for Chippa, keeping up his scoring form and earning a big money move to Chiefs.

But the 30-year-old failed to get much game time with Amakhosi, and returned to the Chilli Boys on a loan deal in January this year before recently making the move a permanent one.

He now hopes to put a disappointing year behind him and is determined to get back to finding the net on a regular basis for the Port Elizabeth-based club.

"I am just focused towards the new season right now. I am hoping for an improved season where I will score more goals the way I used to for this club, that's my main goal this season," Zulu told Goal.com website.

"I have no regrets of the move to Chiefs. My main focus right now is to just do well with Chippa United in the upcoming season and leave what happened in the past behind me, that's all."
