Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Gert Schalkwyk believes Sibusiso Vilakazi will flourish at Naturena following a quiet campaign with Bidvest Wits.
Vilakazi reached his peak and enjoyed great success with the Clever Boys after joining the club in 2009, winning the 2014 Top Footballer and Players' Player of the Season accolades.
Since then, the 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Soweto, with Chiefs tipped as his next stop, and Schalkwyk feels it is time for the Wits star to make the switch, before adding that he would be a perfect fit for Amakhosi next season.
"I think the time has come for him to move to Chiefs after a very dull season for a player of his standards," Schalkwyk told the Goal website.
"For me the writing is on the wall that he is no longer enjoying his game at Wits. He would be perfect for Chiefs based on his style and I think the Soweto giants also need a player of his calibre."
