Urban Warriors duo fit for Chiefs clash

Cape Town - Key Ajax Cape Town duo Prince Nxumalo and Rivaldo Coetzee will be available for selection against Kaizer Chiefs after being sidelined recently.

Central defender Coetzee missed Bafana Bafana's matches against Burkina Faso and Ghana with a hamstring injury, while Nxumalo - the club's leading scorer last season - has been laid low with illness having only featured twice for Roger De Sa's side this season.

But ahead of the Urban Warriors' clash with Amakhosi in Durban on Saturday, there has been some welcome news for De Sa.

"Nxumalo has recovered from meningitis, while Coetzee overcame a hamstring injury. They both returned to training with the rest of the squad on Monday," read a statement on the club's official website.

Ajax's most recent outing was a 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City.

They have yet to register a win in a four league matches this term and sit just two places above the relegation zone.

The Urban Warriors take on Amaokosi on Saturday, October 15 at 18:00.
