Twitter reacts to Benni's CT City appointment

Cape Town - After much speculation, Cape Town City FC have unveiled Benni McCarthy as the club's new head coach.

This comes after Sport24 reported on Monday that the 39-year-old flew to Cape Town last week to meet with club owner John Comitis.

McCarthy has put pen to paper on a three-year contract which will seem him remain at the club until June 2020.

Comitis revealed that he received 22 applications for the vacancy from various nations across the globe before opting to give McCarthy the job.
