Twala: We'll bounce back

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder William Twala says it's only a matter of time before the team starts winning again, ahead of their Premiership clash with Ajax Cape Town at FNB Stadium on Saturday night.

The league champions find themselves fourth on the table with 40 points from 24 matches and 15 points shy of leaders Mamelodi Sundowns following a string of poor results throughout the campaign.

The former Orlando Pirates winger believes Amakhosi can end their seven-game winless run, when they face the Urban Warriors, who are sitting nineth in the league standings on Saturday.

" We are working hard at training and soon the wanted results will come," Twala told his club's official website.

"Ajax are a good side," added Twala. " We need the points as much as they do. It will be a tough match."

Twala joined the Soweto-based club from Chippa United during the January transfer window. His impressive displays recently earned him a national team call-up for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Cameroon.

"It was a great motivator to be selected for the national team. I gained a lot of experience from Bafana Bafana. I’m working for the team and I want us to win as a team."

Kick-off is at 20:15.
