Twala in right space at Chiefs

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder William Twala has revealed that hard work is behind him being able to integrate well into the team since joining in January.

Twala made the move from Chippa United last month and has had an immediate impact at Naturena.

The Chiefs faithful will be looking to the likes of Twala to steer the team to victory against SuperSport United at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

"I wouldn't gauge my performance myself, but I'm happy that the fans have given me a good reception," he told KickOff.

"I came to a team with stability and confidence, and they've introduced me very well. They've welcomed me so well that you cannot tell whether I'm new or not. It's just that the confidence from the guys and the support has been amazing.

"At the moment, I wouldn't say that I'm helping the team in the way they need, but my best is yet to come. So far I think I'm doing fairly well, if not moderate.

"But I'm looking to get even better, seeing that the team has gotten some form at the moment with the four-match winning streak. We're looking to better that even more starting with the game this weekend."
