Cape Town - Newly signed Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala reveals that he could hardly sleep before hearing about his move to Naturena.
Sport24 reported that the 25-year-old signed on the dotted line in a two-year deal, which left all of the football fraternity in shock after Steve Komphela clearly stated that Amakhosi will make no signings in January.
According to Kaizer Chiefs website, Twala admits that he could only muster up three hours of sleep before confirming his move.
“Last night I slept for only three hours,” said Twala.
“I had butterflies in my stomach and was teary upon receiving the news of this move.”
The Soweto-born, former Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows player reflects further: “I didn’t know what to do let alone believe what I was hearing.
“It is a unique feeling and something different.
"I am looking forward to contribute and bring something different to the team.”
“I am unique. I am dedicated to grow in my career. I will give my all to do what has never been done before at Chiefs.”
