Tshabalala's agent laughs off CT City speculation

Cape Town - Siphiwe Tshabalala will not be joining Cape Town City at the end of the season, according to his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane.

The Kaizer Chiefs stalwart's future has come into question over the past month after Cape Town City owner John Comitis publicly revealed their interest to 'break the bank' for Shabba's services in the off season.

The 32-year-old enjoyed a fruitful season at Naturena, scoring eight goals in 28 games across all competitions.

However, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder's business manager has laughed off the claims by stating his client is happy to remain at the Glamour Boys.

"This report about Shabba and Cape Town City is a joke. It won't happen. Shabba is happy at Chiefs," Mahlakgane told Isolezwe website.

"So, there's no reason for him to leave. I don’t think Chiefs will even entertain City’s bid for Shabba."

Since joining Amakhosi from Free State Stars a decade ago, the left footed playmaker has won every major domestic honour, including two Premiership titles.
