Cape Town - University of Pretoria head coach Sammy Troughton reveals a huge amount of pressure is mounting on the coaching and playing staff at the under-performing club.

AmaTuks are second from bottom on the Premiership table and are on a run of eight games without a win and have only one victory from their last 20 competitive matches stretching all the way back to March.

"The reality about all this is that time is running out and in this case my job and that of the players are all at stake," Troughton told KickOff.

"This is not a nice position that we are sitting in at the moment and we definitely need to start banking the points and moving up immediately, which makes our game against Free State a huge one.

"It is only us that can get ourselves out of this position and that calls for us to win games. It is very important that we get results in the last two games this year so that we enter the new year on a positive note.

"If truth be told, I still believe that we can get ourselves out of this situation seeing that we are also the ones who got ourselves in it after all.

"Goble Park is a very difficult place to go but I believe we have given our best with regards to preparations so the mission is to go there and get all the points," he concluded.
