Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admits his team still needs to improve their sharpness in front goal ahead of their Telkom Knockout semi-final clash against Kaizer Chiefs.
Although the Buccaneers have won two games on the trot, Tinkler is still not satisfied with their strike-rate.
Pirates will face the old enemy Chiefs in a rematch following their comprehensive 3-1 victory in the Absa Premiership last weekend.
Tinkler hopes the Buccaneers will continue to create scoring chances against Chiefs.
"That's been going on for quite a while. The only thing you can do is keep working in training, and keep the confidence high - the good thing for me is that they are always getting into those situations," Tinkler told KickOff.
"It only becomes a problem if the chances start drying up, but that's not the case - we still creating the chances, and now we just need to finish them off.
"People talk about a team performing poorly, but I don't agree with that, particularly with the chances you create.
"Usually a team that's been performing poorly doesn't create chances and doesn't play the type of football that we've been producing week in and week out."
Kick-off is on Saturday, November 7 at 15:00.
