Tinkler: Break comes at the right time

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler has welcomed the FIFA international break as it gives his side a chance to refuel.

According to KickOff, Tinkler says that with the amount of games his side have been partaking in that the break can give the Buccaneers a breather ahead of their all important CAF Confederation Cup final against Etoile du Sahel.

“For us I think this break possibly comes at the right time because we haven’t had a break like everyone else,” says Tinkler.

“We’ve been going through two straight seasons now and we’ve still got the Confederations Cup, which is my biggest concern at the moment.”

Pirates clash with the Tunisian side on Saturday, November 21 at Orlando Stadium in the first-leg.

Kick-off is at 20:00.

The second-leg is set to take place in Stade Olympique de Sousse on Sunday, November 29.

Kick-off is at 20:30.
