Tignyemb: We need all the points we can get

Bloemfontein - Bloemfontein Celtic captain Patrick Tignyemb says they will welcome as many points as possible at this stage of the season in order to avoid the relegation battle.

Phunya Sele Sele shared the spoils against SuperSport United in a gruelling Absa Premiership encounter which ended goalless at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.

The Cameroonian international shot stopper extended his praises to his team-mates for their impressive efforts after securing a crucial point away from home.

“We went there for the maximum three points but we got only one,” said Tignyemb.

“But I’m very happy because at this stage of the season we need as many points as possible. We need all the points we can get.

“It was a good team effort overall, one point away from home is better than nothing.”

Celtic next league game will be against the struggling Orlando Pirates at home on Wednesday next week.
