Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise says their intention is to come out victorious in the Telkom Knockout final against Kaizer Chiefs.
This past weekend both Sundowns and Chiefs secured their spot to participate for the Cup in December with wins against SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates respectively.
According to Modise’s official website, the former Buccaneer player believes that despite what is up for grabs on the day that playing Amakhosi does not make any difference.
“It is exciting to know that we have booked a place in the TKO final and will be taking on Kaizer Chiefs,” concluded Modise.
“Remember to be champions you must beat all the teams in that specific competition and whether we were going to play Orlando Pirates or Chiefs, it wouldn’t make a difference.
“We will go to that match with the intent of winning the trophy.”
