SuperSport snap up SA youth international

Cape Town - SuperSport United have added South African youth international Dylan Stoffels to their senior professional squad with the 18-year-old penning a two-year deal.

Stoffels has represented his country at both U17 and U20 level and took part in the U17 World Cup in Chile in 2015.

Previously with AmaZulu, the player was a free agent but he will now spend at least the next two seasons with Eric Tinkler's squad.

In addition to the terms of his contract, United have a two-year option upon expiry.

The forward appears to have a bright future ahead of him in the pro ranks although it seems he will be given time to adjust to the demands of senior football.

For his former side Usuthu, the teenager has just one goal to his name which came against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the National First Division last December.

According to Soccer Laduma report, Stoffels has already begun training with Matsatsantsa and will no doubt be hoping to impress Tinkler in a bid to get a chance in the first team during the rest of the course of 2017/18.
