Sundowns to resume CAF duties next week

Cape Town - Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns will travel to Algeria for their first CAF Champions League Group Stage clash with ES Setif on June 17.

The Brazilians were reinstated to the Champions League after AS Vita, who beat Pitso Mosimane's side on the away goal rule, were disqualified for fielding an ineligible player in the group qualifiers.

The Tshwane side find themselves in Group B alongside Enyimba of Nigeria, Zamalek of Egypt and Algerian giants ES Setif, who have claimed the African title twice in 1998 and 2014.

Sundowns' CAF Champions League full fixture and dates:

•    ES Setif - (away) June 17
•    Enyimba - (home) June 29
•    Zamalek - (away) July 26
•    ES Setif - (home) August 14
•    Enyimba - (away) August 23

The winner of this group will face the runner-up in Group A and the runner-up takes on the winner of Group A.
