Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mukuka Mulenga will not be offered a contract extension when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Zambia international, who joined Mpumalanga Black Aces on loan in January has not made an appearance for the Brazilians since joining the club from Power Dynamos FC in 2013 and will be free to join a club of his choice in June.
Mulenga's struggles has not only been at Sundowns - since arriving in the country he enjoyed a spell on loan at Bloemfontein Celtic last season but since his move to Aces he's only featured four times under Mushin Ertugral.
"You know that he hasn't contributed much to the team this season and that's why they may release him before the start of next season," a source told Soccer Laduma.
"When he joined the team three years ago he was injured and didn't play. Last season he was on loan at Celtic and now he is on loan at Aces.
"So they think it would even be good for him if he can find another team where he can play regularly."
