Sundowns to debut CAF star on jersey against Chiefs

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns will finally don the CAF Champions League star in this weekend's Premiership fixture against Kaizer Chiefs.

According to KickOff, the club confirmed that the new-look PUMA kit has already arrived at their headquarters in Chloorkop.

The Brazilians won the rights to showoff their first-ever star after a two-legged triumph (aggregate score 3-1) over Zamalek in the final of Africa's biggest club competition.

Sundowns are waiting for the League to approve the star which will be emblazoned above the Masandawana crest.

Pitso Mosimane's charges will hope to christen the jersey with a victory over Soweto giants at the Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Kick off is at 15:30.
