Sundowns in Tanzania for PSL preparations

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have jetted out to Tanzania where they will play friendly encounters against Azam and African Lyon in preparation for the second half of the Absa Premiership season.

The Brazilians are to be based in in Dar es Salaam where they are scheduled to play the two friendly encounters.

Pitso Mosimane's men will face 2014 Tanzania Premier League champions Azam on Wednesday, February 1 at 19:00.

On Thursday, February 2, they will then meet recently-promoted African Lyon at the same time that evening.

'Downs will then return to South Africa on Friday, February 3 and will resume their normal training preparations at Chloorkop.

The domestic league resumes next month and the club will face Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday, February 8.

The African champions have a hectic schedule of matches as they need to make up for games that were postponed, due to their success in the CAF Champions League.
