Cape Town - Reigning Mamelodi Sundowns have progressed to the Group stage of the CAF Champions League with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Uganda's KCCA on Saturday.
The match ended 1-1 on the day, but Pitso Mosimane's men had won the first leg 2-1 on home soil.
It was Sundowns who were on top in the early stages as Themba Zwane and Hlompho Kekana both went close to getting on the scoresheet but it was Geoffrey Sserunkuma who opened the scoring for KCCA largely against the run of play.
After the break, the Brazilians put the home team under huge pressure but battled to find a way through before Anthony Laffor found an equaliser in the 80th minute as 'Downs progressed to the next round.
