SSU appoint Baxter's son as 'keeper coach

Cape Town – SuperSport United have appointed Stuart Baxter’s son, Lee Baxter, as their goalkeeping coach, according to reports.

Soccer Laduma reveals that once Baxter took over as Matsastansta's head coach, former Kaizer Chiefs sports scientist, Josh Smith, as well as 'Baxter junior' would join his technical staff.

Lee’s work permit and finalising other significant paperwork hit a snag and delayed his immediate start at United.

However, reports suggest that the goalkeeping coach was already in action this past weekend as SuperSport went on to win 2-0 against the University of Pretoria.

Lee worked alongside his father at both AIK in Sweden and at Genclerbirligi in Turkey.
