Cape Town - Jomo Cosmos coach Jomo Sono believes his side can beat relegation rivals Maritzburg United in the final game of the season to retain their Premiership status.
Ezenkosi suffered a 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows in their penultimate league clash at Princess Magogo Stadium on Wednesday, while Ernst Middendorp's men improved their chances of surviving with a 1-0 victory over Ajax Cape Town, which moved off the foot of the table and within a point of Cosmos.
However, Sono is confident his team will do the job at home this weekend, despite their setback in midweek.
"No, no, you have seen Maritzburg play and you saw Cosmos play and Cosmos was playing away," Sono said.
"You could see the big difference here, Arrows scored but we created more chances than them. And the results don't bother us because we have the last game at home so it is not a worry to us.
"There (at Olen Park) you don't come with confidence there. They won't be overconfident, confidence don't work there. The pitch is small and we get closer to tackles and we are quick there as well.
"There, we will get closer to them and we don't think if they will take tackles and we just hope that there is more fighting in the bench because definitely there will be a few tackles and we will tackle them."
