Sono responded to the critics

Johannesburg - Despite their poor start to the 2015/16 Absa premiership campaign, Jomo Cosmos coach Jomo Sono has distanced his troops away from the critics stating that they must do the talking on the pitch without being pressured.

Sono, however, said that the Ezinkosi have dealt well with their critics as they managed to escape from the relegation zone.

“They have dealt well with the critics recently,” insisted Sono.

“You know that the critics have a way of expressing themselves but our boys play the way I want them to play.

“And despite their critics, it didn’t change anything to their mentality.

“Because I told them to never pay their attentions to the critics and instead they must just do their job which is to play football on the pitch.”

Cosmos are currently placed 14th on the log standings after eleven games and they have only registered two victories.

They will face Free State Stars in their next assignment when the league resumes on December 19.
