Solinas: We're not safe yet

Cape Town - Giovanni Solinas insists Free State Stars are not yet safe from relegation despite moving into the top half of the Premiership standings.

The Italian manager has steered Ea Lla Koto to four wins from their last five fixtures to help them edge away from the relegation zone, but has urged his players not to get complacent after reaching the 30-point target at this stage of the campaign.

"Our objective is very clear and that is to steer as clear of the relegation zone as possible," he told the club's official website

"We are keeping our feet firmly on the ground and not getting carried away by the rich vein of form.

"I'm satisfied with the way the players are applying themselves. Every day we are gelling well as a team and that is very pleasing."

The Bethlehem-based outfit will be hoping to maintain their good form when they face Premiership strugglers Polokwane City on Saturday.
