Sikhakhane placed on special leave

Cape Town - Chippa United Football Club has placed Roger Sikhakhane on special leave as of December 7, 2015.

His suspension comes after amid allegations of misconduct at the Nelson Mandela Commemoration Cup match which took place on December 6 in Mthatha.

The coach has been granted up until Friday, December 11 to respond to the allegations levelled against him. 

Assistant coach, Dan Malesela will step in as head coach in the interim, assisted by Head of Development & Multi Choice Diski Head Coach Floyd Mogale in preparation for the upcoming Absa Premiership encounter against Bloemfontein Celtic on 18 December.

Kick-off will be at 20:00.
