Cape Town - Roger Sikhakhane has praised everyone involved in helping Thanda Royal Zulu secure their promotion back to the Premiership.
Sikhakhane steered Thanda to a 2-1 win over Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday with goals from Khotso Malope and Michael Gumede, to ensure they cannot be caught by second-placed side Black Leopards with three games of the season to play.
The result lifted the side, who were relegated from the PSL in the 2008-09 season, onto 56 points, 12 clear of Leopards, with Stellenbosch left on 43 points.
It is the second time Sikhakhane had led a team to promotion, after doing the same with Chippa United in 2011/12.
After the match, the coach thanked his staff and alluded to improvements to his side ahead of a season in the South African top-flight.
"It will be unfair to take all the glory myself. The whole team deserve credit," he told KickOff website.
"The management, players and technical team deserve the credit for hard work. It's a great feeling to be back in the PSL but there is still more work to be done because now it's a different league.
"However, one thing is for sure - Thanda are not coming to add numbers but to compete.
"It's still too early to comment about that. We will discuss those issues at the end of the season."
