Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs captain Siphiwe Tshabalala says the team is refreshed and ready to challenge for the Q-4 honours thanks to the much needed break.
Amakhosi return to action for the first time after a two-week international break with a trip to Mbombela Stadium for their Premiership clash with Mpumalanga Black Aces on Tuesday night.
"The break was just what the doctor ordered," Tshabalala told his club's website.
"The break gave us an opportunity to push hard at training and to bond as a team. We are recharged and ready."
The former Bafana Bafana international admits it won't be an easy task to win against high-flying Aces, as they look to end their five-game winless run and challenge for the fourth quarter Q-innovation accolade.
"We always respect our opponents," Tshabalala said. "They play good football and they have excellent ball players in their ranks.
"Collins Mbesuma is one of their players to watch while we don't lose track on the rest of their team.
"We want to win the Q4-innovation, starting with a win against Aces tonight. We will not dwell much on the league standings at this stage, we are focusing on winning games."
Kick-off is at 19:30.
