Cape Town - The revival of Thabo September's career at SuperSport United after the arrival of Stuart Baxter is forcing the defender to reconsider his decision to retire.
September was due to hang up his boot at the end of the season after struggling for game-time under the previous coach Gordon Igesund.
However, since Baxter's arrival in January, the 33-year-old has become a regular in the Matsatsantsa starting XI, with the manager relying on him for his experience in midfield and defence.
"I am enjoying the role. The coach has shown great faith and belief in me," September told KickOff.
"I have started to enjoy football again and it has renewed the hunger of playing football.
"It will all depend if SuperSport United make an offer of allowing me to play again, I might consider continuing playing football again next season. It is always a great feeling to wake up every day and join the guys for training."
Matsatsantsa are set to take on Moroka Swallows in the last-32 of the Nedbank Cup on Tuesday.
