Semenya confirms Dikwena exit

Cape Town - Platinum Stars Defender Thabiso Semenya confirmed he will part ways with the club at the end of the end of June 2016.

Semenya's contract with Dikwena is set to expire on June 30, and although he has not yet decided on his next move, he feels it is time to look elsewhere.

The 33-year-old tragically lost his wife in a horrific car crash in Rustenburg earlier this year, restricting him to just six league appearances for Cavin Johnson's side in the second half of the 2015/16 Premiership campaign.

"Yes I am leaving Platinum Stars," he told KickOff. "I am home and at this stage I just want to spend time with my family before deciding about my next destination."

Semenya is the latest addition to the club's list of players heading for the exit door, joining Tlou Segolela, Letladi Madubanya and Eleazar Rodgers in leaving the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the coming weeks.
