Sebola: Pirates attack can be 'unstoppable'

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates legend Andries Sebola believes the club can be a force to be reckoned with if Thabo Qalinge, Thembinkosi Lorch, Luvuyo Memela and Justin Shonga can be used in attack.

There were indications in Saturday's 3-1 win over Kaizer Chiefs that Bucs are starting to find fluency in attack with Memela, Lorch and Shonga all prominent.

Meanwhile, Qalinge is making his return to the starting line-up but has previously starred for Milutin Sredojevic's side.

Sebola told Soccer Laduma: "Lorch is an outstanding player, a very good player who is not afraid of taking on players. It is the same thing with Memela. Those two players are the real Pirates players.

"The coach must give Memela a chance to start games because he can do a lot for the team.

"I'm happy that Qalinge is also back from injury. So, if it's going to be Qalinge on the right, Lorch in the middle and maybe supporting Shonga, and with Memela on the left, Pirates will be unstoppable."

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
