Cape Town - Chippa United skipper Thamsanqa Sangweni feels that it will be crucial for his team to grab the first goal against Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
The Chilli Boys will face the star-studded Brazilians in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg at home at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Chippa advanced to the last four following an impressive performance in the 2-0 win over Platinum Stars last week.
"We just need to score and defend. But what's important is how we are going to do that," Sangweni told the Sowetan.
"It's not about me because I used to play for Sundowns - the team (Chippa) must get results. Everyone knows how important this game is, because even during pre-season we discussed that we needed to get a trophy this season for our fans.
"We don't want just to be there in the league and in cup games, we want to challenge (for) everything that is in front us."
